Artifact Donation

Most of our artifacts were donated to the museum. The museum has well over 100,000 items either on display or in our warehouse, so all offers of artifacts are evaluated by our collections committee. There are generally three outcomes:

• We accept the item and add it to our permenant collection
• We accept the item and let the donor know that we may sell it or give it away at a future swap meet
• We cannot accept the donation. We likely already have a good representative sample, or it is unlikely that we would ever use the item in an exhbition or for reasearch
