Phone Con
PhoneCon is a new conference for telephone collectors, telecom and data professionals, curious phone phreaks, and telephone enthusiasts of all kinds! From early manual to electromechanical to modern-day VoIP, we’ll have talks on telephony topics from a variety of speakers, interactive exhibits, educational and instructional workshops, vintage telephones for sale, and a celebration of the 150th anniversary of the telephone. Whether you’re new to the hobby, a veteran of the industry, or just casually curious about telephones or the tech behind them, plan to attend for something old, something new, something different, and something interesting for everyone!
Video Game Open House
You are invited to the second annual Video Game Open House at the System Source Computer Museum on Saturday, August 15.
Visitors can explore the museum and immerse themselves in the fun of classic video games. Guests can play retro games on original CRT televisions, reliving childhood memories or discovering vintage gaming for the first time.
You will be able to play games on classic consoles with original controllers, from the Atari 2600 to the Nintendo Wii, as well as obscure systems you may have never heard of.
There will also be a meet and greet with Tito from Macho Nacho Productions, with his recreation of the original Microsoft Xbox Prototype.
When: Saturday, August 15th from 10 AM – 5 PM
Admission: $30 ($20 if 18 or under) includes food, drinks and a tour.
